Founded in 2017, AIKON (pronounced “icon”) is creating the first access rights protocol and decentralized marketplace for the Application Programming Interface (API) economy. The key protocol named Open Rights Exchange (ORE) allows any API interaction to be mapped to the Blockchain using smart contracts and cryptocurrency, providing developers the full access to the $2.2 trillion API economy. To kickstart the network, AIKON is launching a decentralized marketplace using the ORE protocol to make it incredibly easy for API providers to monetize their products, and API consumers to purchase and integrate APIs in a faster, more secure, and effortless way.
